And the final 4 groups in Denver’s greatest pizza staple are … – The Know

Two words: unrest galore.

We’re up to the Final Four in the Denver Pizza Brace. This week, Walters 303 is up against Deli Italia, and Cart-Driver is up against Pizzeria Locale.

Oh how the last round was full of scandals (that would have made great TV). But it mattered even to the winning team to see Cart-Driver garner nearly 40,000 votes – compared to the other winners’ 5,000 to 7,000 votes.

“We were really intrigued to see how we can hold our own against White Pie in the third round of the March Madness Denver pizza console,” read Cart-Driver’s Instagram feed on Monday morning. “However, the vote is clearly being tampered with by something that is beyond our control.”

“If you are trying to help on behalf of Cart-Driver,” he continued, “please stop!”

So there you have it. Remember za fans, this bracket is meant to be fun so play fair. You have a week left.

And please, Denver pizza gods, don’t lead us into sudden death and overtime. Here are the results from the past week:

Walters 303 (60%) defeated Blue Pan

Deli Italia (55%) def. cosmos

Car driver (67%) def. White cake

Pizzeria Locale (56%) def. Joy Hill

Editor’s note: Feel free to fill in your brackets and have fun with the Denver Za Madness. Voting takes place online every week, and the winners of each match-up are posted on The Know and printed in the grocery section of the Denver Post the following week until we get to a local champion. May the best pizza win.
