ENGLEWOOD, color (CBS4) – As the first week of training camp came to an end, the Denver Broncos welcomed fans to watch training at an event called Back Together Saturday.
“We’re big Broncos fans. So it’s good to be here, ”said Lourae Lavano.

“To see the boys up close. See the players up close. Get an idea of the new team this season. It’s good to see the orange and blue back on the field, ”said Jeff Alexander.
The pandemic kept fans from watching training last year. Now they’re back and cheering on their favorite players.
“It’s really great. Stuck in for a while. We, uh, we definitely missed that,” said Jenna Haymaker.
The event had a lot to offer for all fans, young and old.

Outside the gates, you can work on your passing and killing skills, and even grab new Broncos gear.
“Once in, there are so many things to do. You can also sign autographs from former players and cheerleaders. You can also get a tattoo of your favorite Broncos logo. But my favorite part has to be over here, where you can party with this beautiful 360 spinner. “
Former Bronco star Karl Mecklenburg knows how important it is to cheer from the fans and how it helps the players to survive the long training sessions.
“The training camp is tough. There is so much pressure. It is such a challenge to catch up with the veteran. If you are an old guy to stay on top of your game. And then it helps a lot when the fans cheer there, ”said Karl Mecklenburg.
There are eight more opportunities for fans to watch the practice.
