It’s #TBT (Throwback Thursday)! Today we have home footage from Michael McBride, a volunteer at the museum. Michael had his camera on-site at the museum on October 10, 2009 to capture the operation of the Denver & Rio Grande Western Pile Driver “OB” while it was temporarily on loan from the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. With this fascinating drive-away device, heavy timbers were driven into the earth for the construction of trestles
