DICK’s sporting items park might be at full capability from July 4th – CBS Denver

COMMERCE CITY, Colorado (CBS4) – At DICKS ‘Sporting Goods Park, the Colorado Rapids games will be at full capacity starting July 4th. The club announced the Thursday ahead of their July 4th home game against Seattle Sounders FC.

“We couldn’t be more grateful to our local health authorities for their relentless efforts to reach this milestone, and to our fans for their patience and continued support as we worked to reopen the stadium safely,” said Pádraig Smith, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Rapids. “I know I’m speaking for everyone at the club when I say we can’t wait to experience the atmosphere of a full stadium with our fans on July 4th.”

The DICK sporting goods park remains a cashless event location. All Rapids games will come with COVID-19 security protocols such as hand sanitizing racks and regular cleanings.

According to official figures, most subscribers will be able to return to their member seats starting July 4th. Tickets for individual games will go on sale on June 4th. Please visit coloradorapids.com for more information.
