Denver Beer Co.’s South Downing Street opened in Rosedale

Denver is a charity, and there are tons of events every month that benefit nonprofits across the city. For Dig In, however, we highlight specifically food and beverage events that support food-centric causes and nonprofits – those that fight hunger, support the service industry, and more.

Pizza Enzo

The lowdown: Pizzeria Locale is partnering with Safta’s Chef Alon Shaya to raise funds for the Comal Heritage Food Incubator. You can order the Pizza Enzo for pickup through the Pizzeria Locale app or online to aid the effort. For every $ 12 worth of pizza sold, $ 1 will benefit the fund.

Colorado Pint Day

The lowdown: Colorado Pint Day is back. You can purchase a beer from participating breweries to raise funds for the Colorado Brewer’s Guild (CBG) during the brewing-flavored vacation. For every pint sold, $ 1 will be donated to CBG.
