Firefighters rescue a number of folks from 3-alarm condominium fireplace at Exhibition and Havana in Aurora – CBS Denver

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Aurora firefighters rescued several people while fighting a three-alarm fire near East Exposition Avenue and South Havana Street, Aurora Fire tweeted just before 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Aurora Fire crews are conducting five ladder rescues. Four patients were examined on site. One was taken to hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

Thirty-one apartments were affected by fire, smoke and / or water damage. The Red Cross helped the displaced.
