Freeway 6 in Clear Creek Canyon closed as a consequence of head-on collision between Semi, Minivan – CBS Denver

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colorado (CBS4) – The entire length of Highway 6 through Clear Creek Canyon was shut down Thursday afternoon after a collision between a semi and a minivan. The authorities are conducting a lengthy investigation and the highway will be closed to traffic for an indefinite period of time.

Colorado State Patrol’s Master Trooper Gary Cutler said the accident was first reported at 3:43 p.m.

Cutler said that a person involved in the US 6 crash had been given CPR.
