MLB All Star Sport in Denver: Occasions, Schedule, Closures

DENVER, CO – Denverites welcome fans from near and far to the 2021 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, due to be played Tuesday at Coors Field.

Bars, restaurants, and venues across town are hosting All-Star Game Week events, and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said he was “more than excited” about the economic boost the game is bringing.

“After a long, hard year and a half, summer energy has returned in Denver. Our residents and our companies know this is a phenomenal way to celebrate this special moment in our lives, ”Hancock said during a press conference on Wednesday.

Reed Saunders, speaker for the Colorado Rockies, also greeted the fans during the press conference.

“I’m a native of Colorado – I’ve been here … lucky enough to be the younger, thinner version of myself in the stands for the All-Star Game in 1998 and here as part of it in 2021.” The All-Star Game of the year as a member of the team is pretty exciting for me, “Saunders said.
