Oh child Roxborough Household Visits West Metro Firefighters After Uncommon Start – CBS Denver

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A Colorado family visited the West Metro firefighters Saturday to thank them for helping with their daughter’s unusual birth. Maggie and Steve Reilly gave birth to their daughter on their Roxborough lawn.

Wren Reilly was born around 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 7th.

Maggie Reilly woke up after midnight from labor. When she and her husband Steve were packing to go to the hospital, it became clear that the baby’s birth was imminent and they called 911.

West Metro Fire Rescue’s Medic 13 crew was just two blocks away. They were joined by Engine 15 and within two minutes of being there, Wren was born.
