Police officer shoots automotive heading for police in Aurora – CBS Denver

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Someone who drove towards an Aurora police officer in a vehicle is at large after the incident. It happened early Monday morning at the intersection of East Hampden Avenue and South Chambers Road.

According to police, a woman called and claimed she was a victim of domestic violence. The officers met her at 7-Eleven.

A short time later, someone turned up at the crime scene in a Ford Taurus. According to the police, the car drove straight towards an officer and he shot the vehicle. The driver left and was not located.

The officer was not injured.

Police said they do not know if the driver was injured or if the driver is also the suspect of domestic violence.
