We made it to the finals of the Denver Pizza Bracket with two competitors still throwing cake: Deli Italia and Cart-Driver. What a matchup.
Both are favorites in their respective neighborhoods. Cart-Driver has two stores in Denver – RiNo and Highland – and the original only reopened after a renovation last week.
Deli Italia now only has one location on the edge of a shopping center in Lakewood. While it’s been open for more than three decades, current owners Chris and Lindsay Lyons only took over the reins three years ago when they brought their new pizza to the menu.

We’ll be releasing the full stories of both restaurants next week to announce our champion. For now, here are the results of the last round. (Remember to play fair during the finals.)

Editor’s note: Voting will take place online and the winner will be published on The Know and printed in the grocery section of the Denver Post the following week. May the best pizza win.
