ENGLEWOOD, color (CBS4) – The Broncos training camp is still days away and the players are ready to make a statement.
“I’m only attacking the camp this year, to be honest. Focus on consistency throughout the camp. I definitely want to establish myself as one of the best tight ends in the league. There has been some controversy about this, but I’m trying to consolidate myself this year where they didn’t ask questions, ”said Noah Fant.

Dalton Risner started every game for the first two seasons of his career. In his third year he is determined to help the Broncos win more.
“I just want to go out and play great football and win games as the Denver Bronco. My body feels great. I’m ready to go out there and have a bloody year. I feel more focused than ever. I feel better prepared than ever. Now I just have to get it out, ”said Risner.
It’s not just Fant and Risner trying to prove the doubters wrong. After a 5-11 finish in 2020, everyone is eager to turn the tide.

“The Broncos in general, a lot of the young people in our roster are overlooked and underestimated. I think our entire team has the same mentality of going out this year and proving it. We don’t worry about the critics, we don’t worry about the analysts. We’re worried about winning games and establishing ourselves as the best in our positions, ”said Fant
“We have something to prove, me included. I think we all have to look in the mirror and remember that we only won five football games. We must have a great year. We put this off-season into work. We just have to show up at the camp ready for business on the first day, ”said Risner.
I think all of our guys have the same mindset: that we have a couple of years under our belt, and now it’s time to attack and win a few games and do a deep playoff run, a Super Bowl run to do – everything that everyone wants and all of our fans want. “
The Broncos are still a young group, particularly offensive, but they are finding ways to use them to their advantage.
“I think we all had to mature faster than normal. We don’t have many vets on our team. Many of our boys are super young. But I think we’re all ready. Every year we feel more comfortable together, ”said Fant. “I think all of our boys have the same mindset that we’ve had for a few years, and now it’s time to attack and win a few games and do a deep playoff run, a Super Bowl run too do – all the things that everyone wants and “all of our fans want.”
